We are seeking a qualified Full Time/Part time Kennel Attendant to join our busy practice as we continue to develop our legacy in the community. Our Clinic & Services: Jackson Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary medical facility that has been serving the Platte County community since 1990. We have established a reputation for excellence in large and small animal veterinary health care among our local population. All team members in the clinic are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care, and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.

We offer a wide array of services including surgeries (routine and complex), in-house laboratory, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, radiology, ophthalmology, anesthesia, dental care, microchipping, boarding, grooming, flea/tick prevention, and house/farm calls as needed.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements: Kennel attendants must be able and willing to provide daily care for boarded dogs and assist with kennel maintenance. Attendants are involved with cleaning cages and runs, bathing, grooming, exercising, feeding, administering medication, handling or restraining dogs and cats as needed, monitoring the behavior of boarded animals, and janitorial duties as needed (washing dishes, cleaning bathrooms/break rooms, taking out trash, sweeping/mopping floors, etc.). Positive and productive client interaction is also required as clients come to pick up and drop off their animals.
